Commencement of Academic session 2024-‘25
Reopening of Classes
The academic session for classes SKG to Grade 10 began on 2nd June, marking a fresh start for students to pursue academic excellence, explore their interests, and achieve personal growth. The reopening of classes brought renewed energy and anticipation among students, teachers, and staff, as they embarked on a new academic journey.
Freshers’ Day
On 4th June, the school welcomed students with a vibrant Fresher's Day celebration, designed to foster familiarity with the school environment, teachers, and peers. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to bond with their classmates, make new friends, and get acquainted with the school's facilities and resources. The celebration set a positive tone for the new academic year, filling students with excitement and enthusiasm for the adventures ahead.

Teachers’ Training Programs

Mandatory Training Program
As part of our commitment to excellence, we have made it compulsory for all teachers to attend a 50-hour training program. This initiative aims to equip our educators with the latest teaching methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

School Parliament Election
In June, we have successfully conducted its school election, a significant event that fosters leadership, democracy, and civic engagement among students. This democratic process allowed students to participate actively, developing essential life skills.

Elected Leaders
The students elected Zayed Ahmed as the Head Boy and Fajva Fathin C.F. as the Head Girl. We congratulate them on their victory and look forward to their leadership and contributions to the school community.
Celebrating National Pride
We take immense pride in celebrating our nation's most significant events - Independence Day and Republic Day. These occasions are marked with grandeur and enthusiasm, fostering patriotism among our students.
Patriotic Events:
To commemorate these days, we organized various programs, including:
1. Patriotic Song Competition: Students showcased their vocal talents, singing patriotic songs that resonated with national spirit.
2. Poster Making: Students creatively expressed their love for the nation through vibrant posters, highlighting India's rich history and cultural heritage.
3. Flag Making: Students participated in flag-making activities, symbolizing national unity and pride.
Boosting Patriotism:
These events aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and national pride among our students, encouraging them to appreciate India's rich history, cultural diversity, and democratic values.
Environment Day
Our school celebrated Environment Day with great enthusiasm, promoting environmental awareness among students. Kindergarten students were given saplings to plant, introducing them to the importance of greenery and nurturing the environment. For higher classes, students were encouraged to recycle plastics, transforming them into useful items. This initiative fostered creativity and responsibility towards the environment. The celebration aimed to instill eco-friendly habits and a sense of duty towards preserving our planet.
Sports Day
The school celebrated its Annual Sports Day, “Fast Lane”, on 24th January 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. A variety of track and field events were conducted, providing students with an opportunity to display their athletic talent, team spirit, and sportsmanship. Medals, trophies, and certificates were awarded to the winners, and the event concluded with the National Anthem. The Annual Sports Day not only encouraged healthy competition but also reinforced the importance of physical fitness and holistic development among students.
I Love English
To enhance students’ proficiency and confidence in the English language, our school has been conducting a dedicated programme titled “I Love English.” This initiative offers a series of engaging and age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, word games, role plays, debates, reading sessions, and creative writing exercises. Through these interactive activities, students are encouraged to communicate effectively, enrich their vocabulary, and develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The programme has received an enthusiastic response from students and teachers alike and has proved to be highly beneficial in nurturing a love for the English language and improving overall language competency.
Little Scientist
The Science Department of our school has initiated an engaging programme titled “Little Scientist.” Under this activity, teachers demonstrate simple and innovative experiments to spark curiosity and develop scientific thinking among students. These sessions are designed to be interactive and hands-on, motivating students to try similar experiments at home as well. By connecting theoretical concepts to practical applications, “Little Scientist” encourages critical thinking, observation, and inquiry-based learning. This initiative has been instrumental in guiding students towards a scientific approach to problem-solving and nurturing a lifelong interest in science.
Peace Day – FLAIRE 2025
The school celebrated its Annual Day, “Flaire 2025,” with great enthusiasm and splendour on 20th December 2025. The event served as a vibrant platform to showcase the talents and achievements of our students. The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by inspiring speeches from the dignitaries. The cultural performances, including dance, skits and thematic presentations, highlighted the creativity, confidence, and teamwork of our students. The Annual Day not only reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education but also left a memorable impression on everyone present.
Kids Fest – Kidtopia 2025
Our school had the proud privilege of hosting the Central Sahodaya Schools’ Kids Fest Competition on 13 January 2025, which was aptly titled “Kidtopia.” This grand event brought together young talents from various schools under the Central Sahodaya banner, creating a vibrant platform for students to display their creativity, skills, and team spirit. A wide array of events such as art, music, dance, literary activities, and games were organized, fostering healthy competition and camaraderie among participants. The meticulous planning by our staff, enthusiastic participation of students, and the wholehearted support from parents and well-wishers contributed to the smooth conduct of the programme. The festive atmosphere, excellent performances, and flawless coordination made Kidtopia 2025 a remarkable success and a proud milestone in our school’s journey during the academic year.
Talent Fiesta
Our school organized an exciting Talent Fiesta titled “Bliss Beat” to provide a vibrant platform for students to showcase their innate talents and creativity. This much-awaited event featured a wide variety of performances, including music, dance, art, literary activities, and other skill-based displays. “Bliss Beat” aimed to nurture self-confidence, creativity, and stage presence while encouraging healthy competition and camaraderie among students. The enthusiastic participation, coupled with the guidance of teachers and the support of parents, made the fiesta a resounding success. It proved to be a memorable highlight of the academic year, celebrating the diverse abilities of our students.
Colour Day
In the Babes’n’Tots section, a distinctive and child-centred approach is implemented to make learning both enjoyable and meaningful. The play-way method forms the foundation of the teaching strategy, encouraging children to explore concepts through hands-on experiences. A notable initiative is the celebration of Colours Day, in which a different colour is selected and celebrated on alternate months. This activity enables children not only to learn the names of colours but also to acquire a wide range of related knowledge in an engaging and memorable manner. Such innovative practices nurture curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Assessments & Evaluation
During the academic year, four Periodic Assessments and two Term-End Assessments were conducted for the students of Gems’n’Jewels. The Babes’n’Tots section was evaluated through six comprehensive cycles focusing on various activities and overall performance. At the end of the academic year, a detailed performance card for each child was prepared and shared with parents, ensuring transparency and enabling them to track their child’s growth and development effectively.

The academic year has been a journey of learning, growth, and achievement for our students, staff, and the entire school community. With the collective efforts of our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic students, we have successfully implemented innovative practices, enriched co-curricular activities, and strengthened our academic standards.
